Morning Fun

Here are some videos we took the other morning before packing away the "guest bed."  Of course just when I pull out the camera to record the cuteness occurring, she stops, but here are a couple of glimpses of her crawling and giggling with Daddy.  Our IA pediatrician requested photos of her standing to check her foot and leg positions, and here are some of those too. She's starting to pull herself up to a stand more frequently, but her legs start to quiver a la Elvis if she's up too long. Yesterday, we had our first post-placement visit with our social worker, who was very happy with how she was doing and didn't have any concerns at this point. We are so fortunate to have the support of Wide Horizons and we are always surprised when talking to other parents at how little follow-up they get once home with their baby, as well as how little information and training they receive beforehand. We will be changing her name soon and then getting her a social security number, etc. Beatrice just cleaned her breakfast plate, which consisted of rice cereal, Cheerios (most of which ended up on the floor and then in Sula's belly), and banana, mango & tofu mixed together, which she loved! She also tried avocado yesterday, which she ate but less happily, and a little cheese. Slow but sure, her list of food exposures is really growing. It's forecasted to be in the 80's and sunny the next four days, so I hope we get some good outdoor time this weekend, and some photos with the daffodils and newly opened tulips in the yard.
