"Good Luck" with your life...

Yesterday was Father's Day and we celebrated on a gorgeous Sunday with a hike at the dam, cleaning the cars inside and out, and mini-golf and ice cream in the evening. Bea gave Anthony a "Good Luck" balloon that she insisted on choosing at the store.  When I asked what the luck was for, she quickly responded "with his life!"  And she delivered that same sentiment in person.  Funny girl.
Here's one of the highlights of the beautiful day:

But first, here are a few pics from Bea & Daddy's roadtrip to Maryland:

Thank God Lolo is recovering quickly and he and Bea had some really nice time together taking walks and watering gardens:

Sassy girl with her Bunny!

Meanwhile, back to yesterday....

Excited that she too can walk on water!

Summer 2016 is off to a great start!

I hold her when I weep,
Blank has a talent---
She keeps me asleep!

Because it's Juuuuuuune!!!

Crazy month!  Here's what we've been up to....

School talent show night:

                                                                     "Alouette!"

Dinner with the Durands:

Taking care of Nala until meeting her new family:

Loving our aging Sula:

Working at riding scooter and bike:

Becoming the character Tic for her Superkids party at school:

Daddy and Bea went to a robot convention at WPI:

Beatrice is ending the school year two half-days early so she and Anthony can head to Maryland tomorrow to see Lolo who had an emergency double bypass.  He's doing well, but it was a  scare for us and a shock indeed!

Here's the last school night of the year, drawing/writing while listening to Tales of Desperaux:

and here's the final morning of 2nd grade yesterday off to school wearing school colors, and matching jello squares for the end of the year party! So, so much growth and many changes this year.  Here's the first day of school  and last side by side:

Looks like an almost 3rd grader to me!
