Bedtime last night, Bea curls into me after reading stories and saying prayers, and says, with eyes filled with excitement and anticipation:
"Mama, let's talk about what's on my mind."
me: Okay, what's on your mind?
B: "You decide."
me: Well, I can't decide what is on your mind. You have to tell me what is on your mind.
B: "What's on YOUR mind?"
me: What's on MY mind is thinking about what's in YOUR mind!
B: Okay...... I know! Let's talk about why fairies don't wear shoes.
