March Madness

Last Thursday there was snow in the morning, forcing Bea's school to delay 2-hours, but not my school, so she came in with me and joined preK in gym class.  She had a blast on the zipline!

Saturday was a beautiful day, with warm (ish) temps and lots of sun so we headed for a hike at the dam mid-afternoon.  Of course as soon as we arrived the winds whipped up, the clouds blew in, and the temperatures dropped.  Before the sky opened up and poured on us, we investigated some trees:

We are so very anxious for Spring. It has been one long winter for New England.

We went to an Empty Bowl supper that evening and she was clingy, whiny, and didn't even want to eat bread. I knew something was up. Here's the shot taken by the newspaper photographer, about an hour or so before Beatrice threw up for the first time.

It was awful. She was horrified and so scared.  I think the egg rolls we ate at Mekong Market earlier in the day may have done her in.  Luckily, it was "one and done" and after a good night's sleep she was good as new today.  Hopefully it'll be another almost six years before that happens again!
