Thanksgiving

 Beatrice was stone-faced throughout her school play.  I couldn't get her to crack a smile, so I guess the teachers made their point about acting being serious business!

But after the play was done , uniform off, and 5-days-off began, the smile came out!

Here she is Thursday morning in her new turkey dress (and barrette) from J.J.:

                                                      "Do you want to see my taw-key???"

We had a wonderful dinner with friends, then had some of my family over for a gathering in the evening, which included Bea's first piano recital:

Off to bed....visit with more cousins tomorrow as well as the annual sitting on Santa's lap!!!!
