What Bea's into these days....

1.  Being upside down.  She started an interest in perfecting cartwheels and handstands this summer, but since Gymnastics class started a few weeks ago, a lot of Bea's day is upside down!

2. The flute. Bea is trying flute this year in the school band.  She's had one lesson so far and is eager to get a real sound out of this beautiful instrument!

3.  Saturday morning Gymnastics class.  It's hard to get good pictures from the upstairs window, but here are a few:

4.  Multicolored hair attachments.  In preparation for her Halloween costume, we ordered a set of hair add-ons, since she needed green to be Poison Ivy.  She's having fun each day adding a bit of color to her hair, like her buddy Rachel and cousins Linden and Raina.  Here she is before we headed to a Lao festival with our neighbors this weekend: (thanks auntie Louise for the cheetah trim dress....)

5.  Singing in the choir.  Our church recently started an informal choir and Bea loves heading up to the choir loft and singing.  Yesterday she belted out "Taste and See" very close to the mic and several congregants apparently thought it was the sweetest moment of the mass.  While hitting notes on key may be a lofty goal for now, she certainly sings with joy and passion!
