We just finished our 2nd annual Tet Trung Thu celebration, complete with homemade Vietnamese food, a star "lantern" parade through the house, games, mooncakes with tea, a reading of the legend of the holiday, and walking outside to view the full moon. Beatrice was in her glory, and Mama and Daddy loved every moment too.
Donning her apron, she gets ready for the big "Pah-yee" (party)
Auntie "Jay Jay" surprised us with this awesome gift!
Tasting the egg rolls from last night. I can't believe how good they were, and she drank the bowl of dipping sauce.

I was more adventurous this year and ordered lotus bean mooncakes "with yolk." Beatrice happily ate her piece of "the moon."

We totally dropped the ball on this holiday, Michelle! (I think I'm still recovering from last year's moon cake fiasco!) Glad to see you celebrated. Looking forward to seeing you in Dec.
