Conversation with a 2-year old

Me: Time to brush your teeth Bea!
Bea: No Mama. No like it. No want it pease. No love it.
Me: We always brush our teeth in the morning. Here, I'll help.
Bea: No, ME DO IT Mama!!!! Me do it. Me. Me..........


Here are a couple of photos from her birthday party in Maryland last weekend. May favorite is of her "reading to" her cousin Miles ("MY-UL"), 6 months her junior, but over whom she has a huge superiority complex, trying to hold him, hug him, pick him up, and generally try to be his mommy.

Happy birthday precious girl. She's playing with her kitty cat keyboard that we just gave her, dancing around the room. There's still a magna doodle from Lolo and Lola coming later, and a package to be opened from aunties T&B. We're off to the aquarium today. It's a great day.
